Ask ChatGPT about your pupils and your business
Review pupils and their recorded skill ratings, check your diary and upcoming driving tests, or ask about recorded income, unpaid lessons and expenses. ChatGPT retrieves relevant information from the ADI Admin account you authorise and helps you make sense of it.
Preparing a lesson is one useful example. You can also get a summary of the week ahead or find out which expense categories account for the most spending.

Lesson planning is only one possibility. Want to know who's got a test coming up? Which lessons are unpaid? How much you've spent on fuel?
Just ask! Try your own questions and explore what ChatGPT can tell you about your records. The connection is read-only, so experimenting won't change anything in ADI Admin.
Pupil names are examples, so use your own pupils' names. ChatGPT may ask you to clarify what you mean.
Progress and lesson preparation

Answers reflect what you have recorded. Payment status is not independent proof of payment, and recorded income minus expenses is not necessarily taxable profit. Check important answers against ADI Admin.
How to connect ADI Admin to ChatGPT

Open the published ADI Admin plugin listing in ChatGPT and select Install plugin.

Select Connect ADI Admin.

Sign in to your existing ADI Admin account if requested.

Select Continue to read-only permissions.

Review and approve all six read-only permissions.

Return to ChatGPT and start asking questions. Check important answers against your ADI Admin records.
You'll need your own ChatGPT account. ADI Admin does not provide or pay for ChatGPT usage. Available features and usage limits depend on OpenAI and your ChatGPT plan. ADI Admin cannot increase those limits or provide unlimited ChatGPT usage.
Read-only access, with your authorisation
Connecting is optional and requires your authorisation. ChatGPT can only access the ADI Admin account you sign in to and authorise. It cannot access another instructor's records.
The integration is read-only. ChatGPT cannot create, edit, move, cancel or delete records, mark payments as paid, update progress or save lesson plans. This connection is separate from ADI Admin's Voice Add Lesson feature.
Addresses, contact details, medical information, private notes, licence numbers, expense descriptions and receipt files are not shared through this connection. Non-lesson diary entries are shown as “Non-lesson event”, without their titles or notes. Personal details removed from former pupil records remain protected.
Relevant retrieved records are shared with ChatGPT to answer your questions. Information already returned may remain in your ChatGPT conversations after you disconnect.
To disconnect, go to ADI Admin Account settings, find ChatGPT access and select Disconnect ChatGPT. This stops new authorised requests; a request already authorised may still finish.
ChatGPT can make mistakes. Check important answers against your ADI Admin records, and review lesson suggestions using your professional judgement. Recorded pupil skill ratings do not determine driving test readiness.
