How to manage driving pupils in ADI Admin

Use pupil records to keep learner driver details, licence information and progress organised in one place.

This guide explains how the feature works inside ADI Admin, the diary and admin app for independent UK driving instructors.

Basic steps

  1. 1

Open the Pupils page from the main app navigation.

  2. 2

Add a new pupil with their name, contact details and licence information.

  3. 3

Use the pupil list to quickly find active pupils.

  4. 4

Open pupil progress to record how confident they are with different driving skills.

  5. 5

Mark pupils inactive when they are no longer taking lessons, without deleting their history.

Useful for

  • Keeping learner driver contact details organised
  • Checking licence expiry information
  • Tracking pupil progress across driving skills
  • Hiding inactive pupils from the main pupil list
