How to manage driving tests in ADI Admin

Basic steps

   Open the Tests page from the main app navigation.

   Select Add test, then choose Upcoming test for a future booking or Test result for a test that has already taken place.

   For an upcoming test, enter the pupil, test date, time, test centre and any optional pickup time or notes. ADI Admin suggests the pupil's next attempt number, which you can change if needed.

   You can save your regular test centres in Account settings so they are quicker to choose when adding a test.

   Add an optional test fee. ADI Admin can prefill your default test fee, and you can override or remove it for an individual test.

   Mark the test fee as Paid or Unpaid. Paid test fees are included automatically in Income, while active Unpaid fees are shown as money still owed.

   If the test overlaps a lesson, ADI Admin will warn you, but you can still choose Save anyway when the booking is intentional.

   If the test date passes before you record the result, it will show as Awaiting result.

   After the test, open it and select Record result. Enter the manoeuvre and any driving, serious or dangerous faults, and ADI Admin will calculate Passed or Failed.

    If a booked test does not take place, use Mark as cancelled. Cancelled tests stay in history but disappear from upcoming bookings. A Paid fee stays recorded as received income, while an Unpaid fee is no longer treated as money owed.
